Contract
The contract for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between the client and Furthest West Cornish Holidays when Furthest West Cornish Holidays issues the confirmation email and will be subject to all the following booking conditions.
Payment
A deposit of 25% of the rental fee is payable if the booking is made more than six weeks before the start of the rental. The balance is due six weeks before the commencement of the rental. For bookings made less than six weeks before the start of the rental period, the total fee is payable immediately. Payments can be made via PayPal or by bank transfer or cheque. Please see each property for further payment instructions.
Cancellations
Clients should notify us of any cancellations immediately by email or telephone. Cancellations more than 60 days in advance will be fully reimbursed. We do advise that you take out separate holiday cancellation insurance.
Arrival and Departure
All holidays start and finish on a Saturday, except where short breaks have been agreed in advance. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to extend the cleaning times. We ask you not to arrive before 5pm and you'll need to leave the property by 10am so that our cleaning teams can do a thorough job.
Number of Persons
The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stipulated in the brochure or on our website.
Pets
We accept pets (to a maximum of two) in all our properties. In general, we find that pet owners are extremely responsible, but we do expect our carpets and furnishings to be protected and that all traces of your animals are removed immediately.
Linen
We provide linen for all our properties but not towels or cot bedding. As part of our efforts during this COVID pandemic, we ask that on departure, you place your used linen in the provided plastic bags so that our cleaners are able to send them away to the laundry without contact.
Complaints
We try to take every care to prepare our properties to a high standard, enabling our visitors to enjoy their holidays. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately. Every effort will then be made to assist you. It may be necessary during your period of tenancy for us to gain access to the property you are staying in for the purpose of essential repairs or maintenance. We reserve the right to do this.
Tenants Obligations
- To notify us of any losses or damage to the property immediately.
- To take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at departure. We reserve the right to make additional charges for extra cleaning and/or damage if the property is not left in a satisfactory state.
